The page on why calculators differ is a good starting point if two results do not match, since it explains the reduction methods and naming differences that cause most mismatches.

When you do write in future, a short note on what to include will help. Include the page name where you saw the problem, such as the calculator page or a named guide page. Include the steps you took, in order, so the issue can be reproduced. If the issue is about a chart result, include the birth date you used, since that is enough to reproduce the calculation, and include the result you got and the result you expected.

A birth date is not needed for most other questions. If your question is about a guide explanation, a broken link, or a wording problem, the page name and a short quote of the passage are enough. You do not need to include extra personal details to report a content or tool problem.

Never send sensitive personal details. Do not send identity numbers, passwords, bank or card details, medical records, or any other private information when writing about this site. Those details are never needed to fix a calculator or to correct a guide page, and sending them puts your own information at risk. If you are unsure whether a detail is needed, leave it out and describe the problem in general terms instead.
